Kenneth inspected the parts closely. Not having as much of a concept of mechanics as he'd like, but still making a concerted effort to appear discerning. "Six of one..." he mused.

He looked up at the shopkeep's question. He took a breath, to ensure his continued ability to speak clearly. His accent was obviously American, but he was mindful to keep the twang of his south-western dialect from muddying up his characteristic eloquence. He thought carefully for a moment about his response to the question.

"We're... business associates. Our work requires a large amount of travel, and our escort needs the parts for repairs before we disembark. In the meantime, I'm also looking for a furnace that can smelt lead and iron in a precise measurement. My benefactors ask I carry a sidearm, and I have to cast some bullets before I leave the area."

Hearing Ken's dilemma, Jason walked through the front door, his foot-falls nearly silent. The only thing that made him noticeable was the ringing of the bell as he came through the portal. He pats the firstmate on the shoulder with a smile as soon as he got to the counter. His clothes were singed and smudged with black oil and other substances, making his appearance a bit haphazard.

"Having some trouble there boss-man?" he asked, his accent a strange combination of british and american dialects.

He looks over the parts that were laid out and smiles, pointing to a few of them "those are the ones you want...I am no mechanic, but I know the parts well enough..."

He looks back to the shop-keep and smiles, his grimace extremely motivating and rogueish; this was a man used to bartering and perhaps using his charisma to swindle people of their possessions or officials out of their loyalties. He too had a side arm at his hip, but it was no six shooter...in fact it was no gun in existence. The barrel was huge for its size and it looked as if it loaded something the size of shotgun shells, or perhaps larger. Along the side of the gun was a script engraving that read 'Lament.'

The gun itself was a creation of Jason's, and extremely identifying to him. It was a caster's pistol, a gun created by this particular alchemist to achieve effects no other gun held fathomable. Most people would call it 'magic' with how devastating the weapon could be.

Location: Wherever I happen to be at the time.
Nori looked up from the part she was trying to wrestle from the pile when she heard the request for bullets. Giving a last tug on the part, she gave it up as futile for the moment and headed for the front counter. Stepping up beside Gyoza, she barely reached the middle of his chest, her pigtails not adding much height to her.

"I can make your bullets for you. I would just neet exact measurments of alloy and size." Her English was very carefully pronounced with a German accent.

She glanced over at the door as the bell tinkled. She took in the newcomer's appearance and had to grin when she caught site of the gun that he carried.
